October 19, 2010

Herndon, VA – October
19, 2010 –
Federal Data Systems (FDS), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned
Small Business (SDVOSB), announced its participation in the General Services
Administration’s (GSA) Mentor-Protégé Program with Mentor firm Catapult
Technology. The program is designed to encourage and motivate GSA prime
contractors to assist small businesses and enhance their capability of performing
successfully on GSA contracts and subcontracts. The program is intended to
foster the establishment of long-term relationships between small businesses
and GSA prime contractors and increase the overall number of small businesses
that receive GSA prime contract and subcontract awards.

Rick Hardy, President of FDS, said, “Entering into a formal
Mentor-Protégé relationship at GSA with Catapult will allow FDS to further
develop our existing relationship with the firm, and will benefit the government
as FDS matures its capabilities and offerings to that agency.”

Catapult is eligible to serve as a Mentor company at GSA as
a large business prime contractor that is currently performing under an
approved subcontracting plan as required by FAR 19.7. Catapult is a prime
contractor with GSA on the GSA Infrastructure Technology Global Operations
(GITGO) contract, providing enterprise consolidation services to the Office of
the CIO serving 17,000 GSA employees.  FDS
currently performs as a subcontractor on the GITGO contract under Catapult.

FDS qualifies as a Protégé as a Service-Disabled
Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that meets the qualifications under FAR
19.001.

Randy J. Slager, CEO, Chairman, and founder of Catapult,
added, “As a veteran-owned business, part of Catapult’s business strategy is to
provide mutually beneficial developmental assistance to other veteran-owned
businesses that are starting out. We want to empower these small businesses to
expand their technical capabilities while broadening their customer base.”
