FDS VP of Security Services Wins ArcSight CyberRange Contest

FDS Vice President of Security Services, Les Gibbs, was the winner of the 2010 CyberRange contest at the security and compliance vendor's annual conference.  In the presented scenario, participants had to use ArcSight tools to identify malicious activity in a simulated computing environment.  The simulation included tracking activity involving a user sending an email containing employee salary information. The attacker penetrated a financial database and pilfered the salary data which was then sent out to the entire company. Gibbs not only successfully completed the scenario, but had the fastest time of any participants.
